Bauhinia affinis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil timur dan selatan hingga Argentina (Misiones). Nama ilmiah Bauhinia affinis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Julius Rudolph Theodor Vogel pada tahun 1836.
