Bauhinia candelabriformis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Goiás). Nama ilmiah Bauhinia candelabriformis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Richard Sumner Cowan pada tahun 1957.
