Bauhinia farec adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Ethiopia. Nama ilmiah Bauhinia farec pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nicaise Auguste Desvaux pada tahun 1813.
