Bauhinia leptantha adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil (Mato Grosso do Sul). Nama ilmiah Bauhinia leptantha pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Gustaf Oskar Andersson Malme pada tahun 1905.
