Begonia bonthainensis merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Begoniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Sulawesi barat daya. Nama ilmiah Begonia bonthainensis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama William Botting Hemsley pada tahun 1896.
