Begonia sanguinea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Begoniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil selatan. Nama ilmiah Begonia sanguinea diperkenalkan oleh Giuseppe Raddi pada tahun 1820.
