Begonia subelliptica adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Begoniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Papua. Nama ilmiah Begonia subelliptica diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Elmer Drew Merrill pada tahun 1943.
