Berberis assamana merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Berberidaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Assam (Meghalaya). Nama ilmiah Berberis assamana diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Joseph E. Laferrière pada tahun 1997.
