Berberis chiapensis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Berberidaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Meksiko. Nama ilmiah Berberis chiapensis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Cyrus Longworth Lundell pada tahun 1945.
