Berberis ganpinensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Berberidaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China (Sichuan, Guizhou, Hubei). Nama ilmiah Berberis ganpinensis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Augustin Abel Hector Léveillé pada tahun 1904.
