Berberis gilgiana merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Berberidaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Nama ilmiah Berberis gilgiana diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Friedrich Karl Georg Fedde pada tahun 1905.
