Berberis ilicina merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Berberidaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Meksiko timur laut. Nama ilmiah Berberis ilicina pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Diederich Franz Leonhard von Schlechtendal pada tahun 1879.
