Berberis liophylla adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Berberidaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China (Sichuan selatan, Yunnan timur laut). Nama ilmiah Berberis liophylla diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Camillo Karl Schneider pada tahun 1939.
