Berberis montana merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Berberidaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Chili tengah dan selatan hingga Argentina barat daya. Nama ilmiah Berberis montana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Claude Gay pada tahun 1845.
