Berberis pinnata subsp. insularis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Berberidaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah California (Kepulauan Channel). Nama ilmiah Berberis pinnata subsp. insularis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Philip Alexander Munz pada tahun 1950.
