Berberis platyphylla adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Berberidaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Tibet tenggara hingga China (Yunnan barat laut). Nama ilmiah Berberis platyphylla diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Leslie Walter Allen Ahrendt pada tahun 1961.
