Berberis tomentosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Berberidaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Peru (Junín). Nama ilmiah Berberis tomentosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Hipólito Ruiz López pada tahun 1802.
