Berberis trifolia adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Berberidaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Meksiko (Veracruz, Puebla). Nama ilmiah Berberis trifolia diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Adelbert von Chamisso pada tahun 1830.
