Berberis vulgaris subsp. australis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Berberidaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Nama ilmiah Berberis vulgaris subsp. australis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1961.
