Berkheya heterophylla merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Provinsi Cape. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan prickly gousblom. Nama ilmiah Berkheya heterophylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Karl August Otto Hoffmann pada tahun 1910.
