Berlandiera pumila merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Serikat bagian tenggara hingga Texas. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan soft greeneyes. Nama ilmiah Berlandiera pumila pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis André Michaux pada tahun 1840.
