Bertya opponens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Queensland (Leichhardt, Maranoa). Nama ilmiah Bertya opponens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ferdinand von Mueller pada tahun 1985.
