Betula alleghaniensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Betulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada bagian timur hingga Amerika Serikat bagian utara-tengah dan timur. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan yellow birch. Nama ilmiah Betula alleghaniensis diperkenalkan oleh Nathaniel Lord Britton pada tahun 1904.
