Bhidea borii merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah India. Nama ilmiah Bhidea borii pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 1989.
