Bidens amplissima merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang British Columbia hingga Washington. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan vancouver island beggarticks. Nama ilmiah Bidens amplissima diperkenalkan oleh Edward Lee Greene pada tahun 1901.
