Bidens hyperborea merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang kawasan subarktik Amerika hingga Amerika Serikat timur laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan estuary beggarticks atau svenson's beggarticks. Nama ilmiah Bidens hyperborea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Edward Lee Greene pada tahun 1901.
