Bidens leptocephala merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Arizona hingga Texas dan Meksiko. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan fewflower beggarticks. Nama ilmiah Bidens leptocephala pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Earl Edward Sherff pada tahun 1917.
