Bidens polycephala merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Marquesas. Nama ilmiah Bidens polycephala pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Heinrich "Bipontinus" Schultz pada tahun 1856.
