Bionia coccinea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil tengah dan timur. Nama ilmiah Bionia coccinea diperkenalkan oleh Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius pada tahun 1937.
