Blakea brunnea merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Melastomataceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Panama. Nama ilmiah Blakea brunnea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Henry Allan Gleason pada tahun 1941.
