Blakea insignis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Melastomataceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Kolombia (Antioquia, Nariño). Nama ilmiah Blakea insignis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis José Jerónimo Triana pada tahun 2013.
