Blakea squamigera merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Melastomataceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Kolombia (Antioquia, Valle). Nama ilmiah Blakea squamigera pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Antonio Lorenzo Uribe Uribe pada tahun 1975.
