Blechnum acutum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Aspleniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Nama ilmiah Blechnum acutum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Nicaise Auguste Desvaux pada tahun 1864.
