Blechnum acutum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Aspleniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Nama ilmiah Blechnum acutum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nicaise Auguste Desvaux pada tahun 1864.
