Blechnum pteropus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Aspleniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil (Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo). Nama ilmiah Blechnum pteropus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Gustav Kunze pada tahun 1856.
