Blechnum whelanii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Aspleniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Papua New Guinea hingga Queensland timur laut. Nama ilmiah Blechnum whelanii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Frederick Manson Bailey pada tahun 1889.
