Blepharis dilatata merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape timur, Provinsi Free State (Afsel). Nama ilmiah Blepharis dilatata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Charles Baron Clarke pada tahun 1901.
