Blepharis gigantea merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Namibia. Nama ilmiah Blepharis gigantea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Anna Amelia Obermeyer pada tahun 1937.
