Blepharis procumbens merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Blepharis procumbens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Linnaeus the Younger pada tahun 1806.
