Blepharodon mucronatum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Apocynaceae yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Venezuela dan Ekuador. Nama ilmiah Blepharodon mucronatum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Diederich Franz Leonhard von Schlechtendal pada tahun 1844.
