Bocconia gracilis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Papaveraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko (Chiapas) hingga Honduras. Nama ilmiah Bocconia gracilis diperkenalkan oleh John Hutchinson pada tahun 1920.
