Bocquillonia brachypoda merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kaledonia Baru (termasuk Î. Art, Î. des Pins). Nama ilmiah Bocquillonia brachypoda diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Henri Ernest Baillon pada tahun 1874.
