Boea mollis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Gesneriaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Papua New Guinea (Morobe Prov.). Nama ilmiah Boea mollis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Rudolf Schlechter pada tahun 1923.
