Boerhavia elegans adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Nyctaginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Niger, Jazirah Arab, Iran, hingga India bagian barat. Nama ilmiah Boerhavia elegans pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jacques Denys Choisy pada tahun 1849.
