Boesenbergia alba merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Zingiberaceae (suku temu-temuan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Thailand. Nama ilmiah Boesenbergia alba pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Kai Larsen pada tahun 2014.
