Bongardia chrysogonum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Berberidaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Nama ilmiah Bongardia chrysogonum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Édouard Spach pada tahun 1839.
