Boophone disticha adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Amaryllidaceae (suku bakung-bakungan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membetuk umbi lapis. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Sudan Selatan tenggara hingga Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Boophone disticha pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Linnaeus the Younger pada tahun 1825.
