Bothriochloa torreyana adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Serikat barat-tengah dan selatan, Amerika barat-tengah, Brazil selatan, hingga Argentina timur laut. Nama ilmiah Bothriochloa torreyana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ernst Gottlieb von Steudel pada tahun 2011.
