Bouteloua hirsuta adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Serikat tengah dan selatan hingga Guatemala. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan hairy grama. Nama ilmiah Bouteloua hirsuta pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Mariano Lagasca y Segura pada tahun 1805.
