Brachychiton discolor merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Queensland tenggara hingga New South Wales timur laut. Nama ilmiah Brachychiton discolor diperkenalkan oleh Ferdinand von Mueller pada tahun 1858.
