Brachycorythis ovata subsp. welwitschii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari RD Kongo hingga Trop. Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Brachycorythis ovata subsp. welwitschii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Heinrich Gustav Reichenbach pada tahun 1955.
